🧩 Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Qualification: Must have passed 10th standard from a recognized board
- Age Limits (as on August 1, 2025):
- MTS: 18–25 years
- Havaldar: 18–27 years
- Relaxations apply per government norms for SC/ST/OBC/PwD/ex-servicemen
💰 Application Fee
- ₹100 for General, OBC, and EWS categories.
- Fee-exempt: SC/ST, PwD, ex-servicemen, all female candidates, and others as per rules
📝 Selection Process
- Computer-Based Test (CBT) – for both MTS and Havaldar.
- Physical Tests (for Havaldar only):
- Physical Efficiency Test (PET) & Physical Standard Test (PST)
- Document Verification & Merit List – following successful performance in prior stages.
Physical Criteria for Havaldar (example):
- Male: Height ≥157.5 cm; chest expansion 81–86 cm; walk 1,600 m in 15 min.
- Female: Height ≥152 cm; walk 1 km in 20 min
💸 Pay Scale
- Payscale: ₹18,000–₹22,000 per month under the 7th Pay Commission, including DA and allowances
🛠 How to Apply
- Register/login at ssc.gov.in (via Aadhaar-based OTR optional)
- Fill in personal and educational details.
- Upload documents (photo, signature, etc.), and capture a live photo during the process
- Pay the application fee (if applicable).
- Submit before July 24, 2025, and save/print the confirmation.

- Use the correction window (July 29–31) to fix any errors
- CBT will be held in multiple languages: English, Hindi, plus 13 regional languages.
- Prepare early for PET/PST requirements if you are applying for the Havaldar post.
